Annotatsiya

Benign prostate enlargement, also known as good-quality prostate hyperplasia, is a common condition among adult men, especially those over fifty years old. It causes lower urinary tract symptoms such as frequent urination, nocturia, weak urinary stream, and incomplete bladder emptying, which significantly affect quality of life. Early detection using ultrasonography and prostate specific antigen testing is essential for timely intervention and prevention of serious complications, including urinary tract infections and kidney dysfunction. Complementary diagnostic tools, such as digital rectal examination and uroflowmetry, enhance the accuracy of clinical evaluation. Effective management involves pharmacological treatment, lifestyle modification, and patient education, reducing disease progression and improving outcomes. This study emphasizes the importance of early diagnosis, preventive strategies, and comprehensive care in managing good-quality prostate enlargement.
