definition of chronic cerebral ischemia (chem). A special role in the pathogenesis of the chemical ischemic cascade and disorders of cerebral microhemocirculation has been noted. An algorithm for diagnosing the disease is presented. Clinical manifestations of HIU are considered depending on the severity of the pathological process. Special attention is paid to vascular cognitive impairment in various lesions. An original quantitative chemical scale adapted for outpatient practice is proposed. The treatment of patients with GIU is discussed based on the pathogenesis of the disease. Methods of hypotensive and lipid-lowering therapy, cerebrovascular, antiplatelet, the appointment of neurometabolic drugs and antioxidants is considered. The purpose of the study. Materials and methods: the research work was carried out at the Bukhara Regional Multidisciplinary Medical Center. A comprehensive examination includes a complete neurological, clinical examination, MRI of the skull or MSCT, Dopplerography of brachiocephalic vessels. The study included 102 patients aged 18 to 69 years suffering from SSI.
