Annotatsiya

This article provides a comparative-structural and conceptual analysis of the terminological system of methodology—one of the pressing issues in modern linguistics and linguodidactics—across languages belonging to different typological groups. Inflected (Russian, English) and agglutinative (Uzbek, Turkish) languages are taken as the object of research, and the formation, grammatical structure, morphemic nature, and loan-word characteristics of terms within them are studied comparatively. The analysis reveals a predominance of affixation and syntactic word-formation patterns during the derivation process in agglutinative languages, whereas internal inflection, conversion, and compact (elliptical) forms lead in inflected languages. The obtained results serve as a theoretical and practical basis for the unification, standardization, and integration of Uzbek pedagogical and methodological terminology with international terminological systems.
