Were examined 61 conscript military servicemen (CMS) aged 19 to 24 years. All patients had acute vertebral pain syndrome in the lumbar region. The patients were divided into two groups: the main group (31 patients) and the control group (30 patients). In the main and control groups, standard medication and non-medication were used (NSAIDs, muscle relaxants, B vitamins, physiotherapy, massage), and in the main group, in addition to traditional treatment, exercise therapy was performed. The use of exercise therapy in the complex treatment of back pain in CMS contributes to a decrease in the intensity of pain syndrome, an acceleration of the time for relief of pain, normalization of muscle tone, regression of neurological symptoms, and an increase in the range of motion in the spine. In addition, it should be noted that exercise therapy is simple and economical, because it does not require any additional funds.
