Annotatsiya

This article provides information about the problems associated with the contrastive analysis hypothesis in learning a foreign (English) language. The contrastive analysis hypothesis is one of the branches of applied linguistics that is concerned with the study of the differences between the native language and the target foreign language, especially between two language systems. According to the author, the difficulties arising due to differences between the native (Uzbek) language and the foreign language being studied (English), and pedagogical technologies that serve to prevent them, are of great importance in the conditions of primary foreign language education in Uzbekistan.
