This article is dedicated to the analysis of theoretical perspectives on the onomastic level of theUzbek language and provides information on certain sections of onomasiology. Brief definitions of onomasticlevels, such as anthroponyms, toponyms, and ethnonyms, are given, as well as personal attitudes and opinionsexpressed. The connection of onomastics with modern directions in linguistics, such as linguoculturology,ethnolinguistics, and sociolinguistics, is also emphasized.
