The article examines the constituent elements of architectonics, composition, plot and style, which indicates that many features of Eugene Sue’s romantic poetics are explained by the writer’s conscious focus on the impact of the reader’s consciousness. Eugene Sue was convinced of the educational value of art. This showed the similarity of the types of artistic thinking of Eugene Sue with Victor Hugo.
