A truth that does not require proof: a person does not come to this world only to fnd wealth and live in pleasure. A person’s high qualities, breadth of thought and worldview, knowledge, sharp mind have been the criteria for all times. In this article, the stages of development of the current Uzbek historical novel and researches are highlighted. the analysis includes a number of novels created in recent years, a number of historical novels are commented on.
