The article analyzes the cult factor and its relevance to the culture of the nation in the defnition of linguistic and cultural codes. In it, it is revealed on the basis of evidentiary materials that such teotoponyms as Sulaymanota, Khojayi Huban, Khojayipok, located in Surkhandarya region, appeared on the basis of linguistic and cultural cult.
