This article, using the example of dialects of the Surkhandarya region, studies the features of the study of the syntactic category of time and person-number of the verb in the dialect corpus of the Uzbek people, and also provides theoretical views on tagging both grammatical formal and dialect variants of the verb and its structure in the corpus. It is also noted that in order to separate the morphemic forms of action and state, it is necessary to ensure the commonality of the dialect and modern Uzbek literary grammatical norms, and the practice of research allows us to prevent problems of gramomonymy in the dialect corpus.
