The article shows that in Uzbek children’s poetry special attention is paid to the effective use of words with opposite meanings; appropriately used words with opposite meanings increase the effectiveness of the statement, bring emotionality and expressiveness to the events described, and give the reader new information from the dictionary of the Uzbek language
