Annotatsiya

The extreme environmental conditions formed in the dried areas of the Aral Sea (salinity, drought, high temperatures, and dust–salt storms) make it important to study the adaptability of plant-associated microorganisms. Soil salinity is a limiting factor for seed germination, and previous studies have shown that rhizosphere bacteria isolated from the roots of halophytic plants are tolerant to salt stress. The aim of this study was to isolate promising plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) from the rhizosphere of black saxaul (Haloxylon aphyllum) growing in the dried bottom region of the Aral Sea, and to investigate their morphological, physiological, and ecological characteristics. The article presents the results of research on the isolation of rhizosphere bacteria, their classical microbiological classification and identification, as well as the evaluation of the morphological characteristics of the obtained isolates. The findings demonstrated that the bacterial isolates possess the ability to promote plant growth under conditions of extreme salinity, indicating their potential application in restoring the fertility of saline soils.
