This article presents the latest (2022-2024) look at the problems of pharmacology and the pharmaceutical industry, in which artificial intelligence played a key role in drug discovery and technology improvement. Despite the great successes made in the processing and analysis of biological and pharmacological data, it is necessary to move away from the "one drug/one target" paradigm, which remains the basis for drug research. Such a transition cannot be realized without the introduction of new mathematical and computer technologies that can give pharmaceutical companies a once-in-a-century chance, but only if they learn how to solve and scale the unique tasks of the industry, bearing in mind the prospects for its robotization.
