This article presents various forms of congenital ear malformations directed to abnormalities of all parts of ear in the form of symptoms, syndromes and diagnoses. A case of a patient with external acoustic meatus atresia associated with dextraural earflap deformation is shown separately. It is found that existence of hearing parents does not preclude the hereditary nature of deafness. Hearing impairment in a brother, a sister or other relatives is indicative of heredity possibility.
