The article analyzes questions and problems related to the actualization of the study of bioethics in educational, daily practice and clinical studies of dentists. If ethical issues in medicine could be resolved in the categories of deontology until the last third of the twentieth century, then with the progress of biomedical technologies, ethical problems appear that can be solved within the framework of the new science of bioethics (biomedical ethics).
