We describe 3 methods of diagnosis of dental caries in the early stages of schoolchildren in the age of 7-12 years. Traditional visual dental examination, -vital staining of enamel demineralization revealed early caries at 11,3 and 13,5% of children sun-eyed. Using the method of quantitative fluorescence svetoidutsinyvannoy QLF device in 14,8% of children, and Odeh found in varying degrees of activity and detected in 11,8% superficial caries. The use of an optical instrument, along with the existing clinical and instrumental studies gives a great opportunity dm detection and evaluation of dental caries m its earliest stages.
