Интерфероногены индуцируют выработку интерферонов и наряду с этим повышают активность других факторов противовирусного иммунитета. На сегодняшний день известны и могут использоваться следующие интерфероногены: ларифан, мегасин, полигуацил, полудан, ридостин,циклоферон, неовир и многие друтие.Одним из современных интерферонов. эффективных и относительно безопасных, является полудан. Содержимое флакона (200 мкг) следует перед применением растворить в 2 мл дистиллированной воды. Полученный раствор закапывать 6—8 раз в день в нос и полость рта. Интерфероноген мегасин выпускается в виде 3% мази, рекомендован для местного лечения.
