The finding of electroactive or biologically active points of the surface layer of human shin is based on the principle of a lower resistance of these points to a direct current than the skin zones in its immediate environment. Electrophysiological studies have shown that the skin, especially in the localization of active points, responds to the disease by changing its electrical characteristics.
