The aim of the study was to study the level of hypoxia in the blood in patients with diseases of the nose and paranasal sinuses in the background of myocarditis. The study included 47 patients with myocarditis, 24 of whom also had diseases of the nose and paranasal sinuses and 31 patients with diseases of the nose and paranasal sinuses without having heart disease. All patients underwent comprehensive clinical laboratory and instrumental examinations, including examination of the ENT organs, rhinopneumotachometry. and biochemical blood tests. The study showed that m patients with diseases of the nose and paranasal sinuses, a prolonged decrease in the intake of oxygen into the lungs leads to chronic hypoxia, which adversely affects the course of myocarditis.
