1. Впервые проведенный в Республике Узбекистан анализ показал, что на 2019 год общая заболеваемость ВМД составляет 24,45, а первичная заболеваемость 8,38 на 100 тысяч взрослого населения, что превышает общемировые показатели. 2. Общая заболеваемость в Республике, Ферганской, Андижанской и Наманганской областях имеет тенденцию неуклонного роста. 3. В Ферганской и Андижанской областях общая заболеваемость значительно выше, чем в Наманганской области. Данное обстоятельство, в свою очередь, подтверждает необходимость проведения дополнительных исследований для выявления локальных факторов риска развития и прогрессирования, разработки реабилитационных программ, мер социальной адаптации для различных категорий населения данного региона.
