This article provides information on the origin and development of the migration of the peoples of Uzbekistan and other CIS countries. Also, the chronology of the article includes the years 1950-1980, because, according to the development policy carried out by the Soviets in a certain period, the relocation of citizens from large cities to newly irrigated lands and the relocation of rural residents to new industrial cities is the most aggressive. has been Thus, the Soviet Union created a new type of population migration for the development of a large country.
