This article analyzes the development of music education in the Fergana region, specifically the establishment of music and art schools, their initial activities, and the personnel policies of the first such schools. Based on archival materials, historical documents, and expert opinions, the study illuminates the sociocultural factors that influenced the formation of music schools. It also examines the content of the educational process in the early period, teaching methods, and the role of national musical traditions in the education system. The article substantiates the fact that the development of music education in the Fergana region has acquired a significant role in the cultural life of the region. The research results have scientific and practical significance for studying the history of music education and improving the modern educational process.
