In this article, the author examines the importance of traditional methods of maintaining health and physical activity characteristic of the Karakalpak people. Along with the culture of physical education, the author also considers the culture of nutrition of the Karakalpak people. Karakalpak food, when consumed correctly and moderately, plays a key role not only in satisfying physiological needs but also in strengthening health and treating diseases. At the same time, the role of Karakalpak folk medicine as an effective means of restoring vital energy during periods of its acute shortage is considered. The article analyzes the role of folk customs, rituals, and games in the formation of physical culture, as well as in strengthening public health and social ties in traditional society. The influence of customs related to physical exertion on the daily life of the Karakalpaks, as well as their connection with spiritual and cultural practices, is examined.
