The article examines some aspects of the historiography of Uzbekistan's cooperation with the European Union. At the same time, the scientific literature on theoretical issues of Uzbekistan's foreign policy was analyzed. The author tried to highlight from a historiographical point of view the processes related to the importance of foreign policy in the development of statehood, the development of cooperation with reputable international organizations, the creation of scientific literature directly related to this issue, and the ideas and views raised in it. The author also reviewed in detail scientific research on cooperation with the European Union in Uzbekistan's foreign policy and expressed his point of view on this issue.
