The article analyzes the demographic situation in Uzbekistan during independence period (1991–2023) and its significance for the socio-economic development of the country. The study identifies key demographic changes such as population growth, declining birth rates, migration processes, and urbanization, as well as their impact on the labor market, infrastructure, and human capital development. Special attention is given to the Uzbek model of development aimed at addressing demographic challenges. The application of statistical, sociological, and forecasting methods allowed the formulation of recommendations for sustainable development and effective management of demographic processes.
