Annotatsiya

One of the historical lands of the Surkhandarya region revealed the socio-cultural appearance of Tokharistan in the exposition of the Termez Archaeological Museum of the early Middle Ages. The museum presents sculptures and frescoes from the monuments of Kuyovkurgan and Balalyk-tepe, important finds of the early Middle Ages. Examples of early medieval fine art found in these monuments testify to the ancient development of fine art in the Surkhandarya oasis. Balalyk-tepe paintings are one of the magnificent fine arts that flourished in the Surkhan oasis in the 5th-7th centuries. These paintings are considered one of the most unique examples of this type of painting in Central Asia.
