The article is devoted to the history of trade and economic relations between the Central Asian khanates and neighboring Kazakh peoples in the 19th and early 20th centuries. The combination of the southern regions of Kazakhstan to the three khanates of Central Asia - the Bukhara, Khiva and Kokand regions allowed the development of trade and economic ties. Particular attention was paid to the development of animal husbandry, crafts, types and quality of products in trade relations. Products developed by masters of Bukhara, Tashkent and Khiva were very popular among the Kazakh population. In return, nomadic Kazakhs brought to the Emirate of Bukhara a lot of desert products, carpets, such as carpets, felt, and important raw materials for the settled population - wool and leather. And trade was mutually beneficial, so these ties led to an increase in production in the development of the industry of each of these regions.
