The policy of mass repression pursued by the Soviet authorities in Uzbekistan in 1937-1939 was recorded as the darkest years in the history of our people. During these years, at the initiative and direct support of the Communist Party leadership, many people in the country were subjected to repression. Such charges as "enemy of the people," "dissident," "member of a counterrevolutionary organization," "foreign spy," and "representative of religion" led to the sad outcome of several people's fates. The article describes the attempt of a despicable person to drag a person into the bonds of repression because of personal enmity and dislike. The author tried to analyze in detail the specifics of this event, relying on historical materials.
