In particular, in the twentieth century in relation to ethnicity karaminchev leading the trend began to call themselves Uzbeks. However, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, along with the revival of a sense of national identity in independent Uzbekistan, there is also a revival of a sense of ethnic identity among Kuramintsy. However, this situation does not affect the process of the post-Peno merger of the Kuramins into the Uzbek ethno-cultural unity. This trend is observed in changes in the structure of various rituals, transformed family and social celebrations, religious holidays, which are increasingly oriented to the norms of Tashkent, as the main cultural center of the Republic.
