Chronic hepatitis is one of the most important public health problems in the 21st century. It has been proven that in most cases, chronic hepatitis can be considered a chronic viral infection or its consequences. Pathogenetic approaches to treatment were replaced by etiotropic therapy with antiviral therapy. In many ways, this situation resembles a change in pathogenetic approaches in the treatment of gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer, and in the eradication of Helicobacter pylori infection. Thus, chronic hepatitis is currently in the field of activities of pediatric gastroenterologists and infectious disease specialists. So, on our planet, only 2 billion people have been ill with viral hepatitis B, and the number of deaths associated with this disease reaches 1 million a year. This issue is especially acute in pediatric practice, as it is one of the factors of child disability. Treatment regimens for adult patients with chronic hepatitis are often not tested or “Work poorly” in childhood.
