Ushbu maqolada O‘zbekiston Respublikasida yashil iqtisodiyotga o‘tishning dolzarbligi, mavjud muammolar, huquqiy-me’yoriy baza va istiqbolli yo‘nalishlar tahlil qilinadi. Yashil iqtisodiyot — barqaror rivojlanishga erishish, ekologik xavfsizlikni ta’minlash va resurslardan oqilona foydalanishni ko‘zlovchi yangi iqtisodiy model sifatida qaraladi. Maqolada xalqaro tajriba va O‘zbekistonning milliy rivojlanish strategiyalari asosida tahliliy yondashuv qo‘llanilib, qayta tiklanuvchi energiya manbalarini keng joriy etish, yashil texnologiyalarni rivojlantirish, iqtisodiy rag‘batlantirish vositalarini takomillashtirish bo‘yicha takliflar ishlab chiqilgan. Statistik ma’lumotlar va institutsional yondashuvlar asosida mamlakatda yashil iqtisodiyotga o‘tish salohiyati chuqur tahlil qilingan.
