This article analyzes the importance of image preprocessing algorithms in information security systems, the process of converting color images to grayscale images, and issues of working with biometric parameters. Image grayscale algorithms are widely used in cyber security, biometric authentication systems and other security fields. By converting color images to grayscale images, it is possible to reduce the size of data, reduce processing time, and use computing resources efficiently. Also, biometric technologies can be widely used to improve the security of access systems of various systems. For example, it can be used to ensure information security in the access systems of platforms being developed in the religious and educational sphere.
