This article is devoted to the issues of increasing labor productivity based on new technologies and digitalization of production. In particular, the authors analyzed labor productivity indicators and compared them with other countries, identified a number of directions for the development of the industry and tasks for building a digital state, a number of requirements for creating conditions for the growth of labor productivity. In conclusion, the authors propose the implementation of the priority program "Increasing labor productivity and supporting employment" based on the introduction of Industry 4.0.
