Abstract: During the years of independence, the interest in foreign historiography has sharply increased in the context of a global approach to history, the possibility of diversity of opinion, the observance of objectivity. The study of the recent history of Uzbekistan on the basis of foreign historiography allows an objective assessment of historical processes. This article provides a comparative analysis of the socio-political processes of Uzbekistan in the years of independence, achievements in the field of culture and enlightenment, domestic and foreign policy processes in Turkey, research centers, periodicals and provides the necessary scientific conclusions.
