The article deals with the problems of improving the mechanism for protecting property rights from corruption encroachments in the Republic of Uzbekistan. It is noted that it is noted that in the conditions of a cardinal transformation of socio-economic relations carried out in Uzbekistan since 2017. the problem of ensuring and protecting property rights from unlawful encroachment on it has acquired particular urgency. At the same time, special attention is paid to the issues of protecting the rights of owners from criminal encroachments of corruption, since they lead to a loss of trust in government institutions, reduce the investment attractiveness of the country, destabilize the sustainable development of market relations and, in general, discredit the ongoing reforms. The author comes to the conclusion that excesses with unlawful deprivation of property rights with a corruption component are manifested in the form: the adoption by administrative bodies and their officials of unlawful decisions on the seizure of property objects for state and public needs, the adoption by local government bodies and their officials (often illegal) decisions on the seizure of property, market monopolization through collusion of officials and business structures, raider seizures of someone else's property, corruption lobbying for the interests of various groups of various kinds of interests, making unlawful court decisions on the seizure of property, etc. According to the author, the absence in Uzbekistan of traditions of strict provision of property rights and effective public control, as well as: imperfection of legislation and mechanisms for ensuring and protecting the rights of owners, bureaucracy in the activities of officials, insufficient level of legal awareness and culture of authorized officials, lack of practice of communication with the public, the prevalence of administrative methods of influencing the processes of ensuring property rights, the presence of facts of bureaucratic, sometimes voluntaristic behavior of individual officials, etc. contributed to a significant increase in complaints from owners about the unlawful restriction of their rights.
