The article analyzes that the most important factor in increasing the competitiveness of the industrial complex at the present stage of development of socio-economic relations is innovation. It is also emphasized that the level of scientific and technological development, in turn, is the basis of economic growth. The emphasis was placed on the development of innovative high-tech products in support of the project for the development of the national industrial complex of each country with a developed economy.
