Children with scoliosis lag behind in height and body weight from their healthy peers. This is due to the fact that the skeletal system of children at this age is in the development stage, and scoliosis has a detrimental effect on the growth of the parameters of the child's physical development. The circumference of the chest in a pause, at the height of inhalation and during full exhalation in children with scoliosis is greater than the circumference of the chest of healthy children. The curvature of the spinal column leads to an increase in the parameters of the circumference of the chest in all stages of breathing
