Based on the results of a clinical and instrumental examination and an analysis of case histories, the authors evaluate the problems of allergic rhinitis. A study was conducted on 44 patients aged 18 to 60 years diagnosed with allergic rhinitis. The study included allergy histories, objective data, an endoscopic examination of the nasal cavity, and cytological and bacteriological examination of nasal and nasopharyngeal swabs. Patients received comprehensive treatment for allergic rhinitis, including elimination, hyposensitizing, immune, antifungal, and topical therapy, as well as nasal septum resection with vasectomy of the inferior turbinates. As a result, pronounced positive effects were observed in 74.3% of patients, a minor effect was observed in 21.6%, and 4.1% of patients experienced no positive effect from the treatment. The presented system of complex therapy allows for improved treatment results and enhances the quality of life of patients with allergic rhinitis.
