This paper investigated the participation of a representative in civil proceedings, the basis of representation and the participation in the case, the appointment of a representative by the judge on his initiative or on the recommendation of the parties at the stage of consideration of the case in court, the attraction depending on the circumstances of the case, the types of individuals, the benefits of practical experience of developed foreign countries to improve Executive activities in the civil procedural legislation.
