This article concentrates on the CEFR document and its history, via focusing its implementation inUzbekistan as a result of reforms in recent years, the history of its creation and the effectiveness of the work being done in our country in this regard. The article also describes the components of the CEFR document, the definition of language proficiency levels, and the development process of the “Can Do” statements, organized by the European Language Testing Association. In addition, the article discusses the implementation of CEFR on a global scale and the scope of research, as well as the stages of introduction of the program in Uzbekistan, its features and adopted regulations.
