The article considers the possibilities of building an effective strategy of professional formation of a subject in the conditions of the educational system of the Republic of Belarus. Designing such a strategy is determined by the strength, versatility and reliability of continuity between the stages and levels of education and allows planning the formation and development of professional competence of a future worker, employee or specialist. The author defines the range of such routes, their actual duration in time under the condition of continuity of multilevel educational process. The advantages and disadvantages of various educational routes are identified, and a brief analysis of their demand among students is presented.
