The article is devoted to the study of the characteristics of the influence of personality types on the formation of negotiation skills in cadets. First, the nature of personality types, theoretical approaches and the content of concepts in this regard are described in detail from a psychological point of view. At the same time, the impact characteristics of personality types on the development of cadets’ negotiation skills have been studied within the framework of empirical research.
