The article deals with the issues of lexical and semantic adaptation of anglicisms in the Russian and Karakalpak languages on the material of the media during the coronavirus infection. Analyzing the mass media of Karakalpakstan in the period 2020-2022, we can see the spread of many international elements in the Karakalpak language. It should be noted that the article discusses neologisms, some of which are not recorded in the available foreign-language dictionaries. During this period, foreign words and terms of English origin were included in the composition of all languages of the world at an accelerated pace.
