In the article, the guarantee of Uzbekistan’s place among the developed countries is its economic development. It is known that almost every specialist and business entity realizes that the economy cannot be developed without foreign investments in the current conditions, and they understand that attracting foreign investments to the economy of our republic is a very effective thing. In Samarkand region, in 1991- 2016, the efforts and efforts in attracting foreign investments and the achieved results and problems were analyzed.
