Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocols have become widely adopted in surgical practice and have demonstrated significant clinical efficacy. Although the number of studies focused on the implementation of ERAS in bariatric surgery remains smaller compared to other surgical fields, there is already a substantial body of evidence supporting the development of recommendations based on high-quality research. This review summarizes up-to-date data on the application of enhanced recovery principles in bariatric procedures.
