In this article it is outlined present a series of embodied learning activities that teachers can use with their students to promote an understanding of some key aspects of meaning, structure and language. These are outlined in detail with ideas for structuring learning activities and some comment on the kinds of textual and contextual features that teachers and their students might want to explore
