The history of Central Asia since the 60s of the 19th century has not yet been fully studied. The Russian authoritarian regime conquered Turkestan by force and sword in order to obtain cheap labor, fertile lands and inexhaustible raw materials. During the Soviet period, scientists deliberately falsified the history of the Russian Empire and the colonialism of the Soviet era, and gave one-sided coverage. This article objectively analyzes the historical processes related to the Red Army’s invasion of the Bukhara Emirate, a semi-colony of the Russian Empire.
