This article analyzes the activities of state and public figures who headed the Uzbek SSR in the 50s of the XX century. The socio-economic policy pursued by the first secretaries of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Uzbekistan, the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Uzbek SSR and the Chairmen of the Council of Ministers of Uzbekistan has been reflected in the works of foreign researchers. The article analyzes the views of foreign scientists regarding the public administration of the Uzbek SSR and their leaders.
