Issues of mutual influence and interpenetration of musical and cinematographic techniques were studied at the level of musicology and cinematography in the aspect of the parallel development of video and audio series. The proposed tabular method for studying the composer's style and thinking of Debussy and Ravel will make it easier to understand the musical content of the works and the aesthetic principles of composers who promoted in their work a multi-level system of the historical and stylistic category - musical impressionism. The objectives of this article are indicated by parameters emanating from the aesthetic principles of Debussy and Ravel, who developed their work at the end of the 19th century under the influence of a new type of art - cinema.
