The article presents a scientific analysis of the determinants that influenced the transformation of theoperational-search measures system in modern conditions. It is noted that the change in the vectorsof criminal activity influenced the development of the operational-search measures system. Thescientific views of scientists on the change in the directions of criminal activity are analyzed, crimescommitted using information technologies, drug addiction, extremism and terrorism, humantrafficking and illegal migration are scientifically studied as important determinants of changes inoperational-search tools. Based on the analysis of qualitative and quantitative changes in crimescommitted by women and against women, their impact on the evolution of operational-search toolsis predicted.
